- S. Pellegrino's World's 50 Best Restaurants for 2008. I plan to try number 10 (Noma, Copenhagen, the only Danish restaurant on the list) this year.
- I am not sure how good of a Vice-President he'd eventually be, but he does get most of his economics right. Which is really impressive for somebody aspiring to be top politician...
- The elusive link between trade and wage inequality. Inequality which is there and rising. Not that this is necessarily bad (1st bullet point). Or that anybody really cares about it.
